The vision of the National Trends and Services facet is to eliminate disparities through advocacy, education, and service. In partnership with local domestic and family violence shelters and programs, the National Trends and Services Facet (NTS) is working to support women and children survivors to rebuild their lives through job education and training, legal support, and assist in finding new permanent residences.
NTS launched a series of informational workshops on critical issues of concern, including:
- Advocacy – Educating policy makers about the importance of promoting and supporting legislation that impacts the issue of violence against women and girls at the federal, state and local levels.
- Empowerment – Engage and support women and girls who are victims of domestic violence to meet the challenges of re-building their lives.
- Education – Increasing awareness and understanding of the issues, consequences and interventions in our community.
