The vision of The National Trends and Services (NTS) Facet within the Greater New York Chapter of the Links, Inc. (GNY) is to provide resources and support to at-risk individuals of all ages and backgrounds through advocacy, education, and service.

NTS continues to improve participation and positioning of Black families in economic and banking systems and increase the level of civic engagement of participants through education, voter registration and participation in political and community activities.

From teaching our high school girls in Harlem about financial literacy to co-hosting a community forum about Black Maternal Health, the NTS Facet works to empower and assist communities in the greatest need.

As part of the Chapter’s Integrated Program, NTS has developed a “Harness Your Power” workshop series – Power of the Purse, Power of a Growth Mindset, Power of Vision, Power to Use Your Voice, and Power of Position. Each workshop features Chapter members highlighting the topics of financial education and empowerment, developing a growth mindset, vision boarding, the dynamics of civic engagement and social justice and various educational and career paths, respectively.
